More about Concrete

Concrete also referred to as reinforced concrete or reinforced cement, is a composite. A product in which concrete’s tensile strength heightens by using steel rebar. Embedded before the concrete pavement is poured. The alkalinity of the concrete prevents the steel from corrosion.

Steel rebar will resist the stresses of weight against the dreaded cracking. Furthermore, to prevent concrete structure failure. This pre-tensioning method, especially on driveways, will last a lifetime.

A fine mixture of sand, stone, cement, and water is what creates concrete. Cement is the binding agent made of limestone, sand, clay, bauxite, and iron ore. These elements are mixed, then heated at the processing plant. The result is a hardened substance called clinker. Clinker is this ground to produce a powder ready to me mixed with water.
